Charlie Puth Headed Down Under on ‘Whatever’s Clever! World Tour’

A New Odyssey Begins: Charlie Puth, the multi-platinum Rumson, New Jersey singer-songwriter who has been nominated for four Grammy Awards – including Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “See You Again” in 2016 — is headed to Australia and New Zealand for a six-
date run this November on his Live Nation-backed “Whatever’s Clever! World Tour.”

Puth just released his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, on March 27 through Atlantic Records, featuring guest appearances by Kenny G, Coco Jones, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and Jeff Goldblum, among others. It follows his third studio album, 2022’s Charlie, a four-night residency at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City last year and a performance at the Super Bowl in San Francisco this past February.

General on-sale tickets will be available from Thursday, April 23 at 1p local time. An artist presale begins Monday, April 20 at noon local time, with Vodafone and Mastercard presales on Tuesday, April 21.

The tour includes dates at Spark Arena in Auckland on November 5, followed by Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne (Nov. 7), Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney (Nov. 10), Brisbane Entertainment Centre (Nov. 13), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Nov. 15), and RAC Arena in Perth (Nov. 17). Puth will be backed by a full live band. “I feel like I’ve worked and waited my entire career to put this sort of live show on for you all, stated Puth. “We have worked so hard to bring you the sort of top-level musicianship and arrangements that you all deserve in a live show, and I am beyond excited to bring my music and this incredible band and show to some of the most iconic rooms in the world. It’s going to be fun!”

Puth’s just-released album has already spawned four singles, “Changes,” “Beat Yourself Up,” “Home” and “Sideways.”

Puth’s highest-charting solo single to date is “Attention,” which peaked Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2017, while “We Don’t Talk Anymore” featuring Selena Gomez, reached Top 10. His co-written and co-produced track “Stay” for The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021. To date, Puth’s music has generated 35 billion career streams and nine multi-platinum singles.
