Illenium’s Odyssey Returns to Sphere July Fourth Weekend

Get ready for some fireworks on the Vegas Strip. Grammy-nominated EDM stalwart Illenium (Nicholas Daniel Miller) will return to Sphere in Las Vegas for two more dates of the Illenium Presents Odyssey shows on Fourth of July weekend, Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Live Nation shows will launch a ticket pre-sale on April 20 at 10 a.m. local time, with a regular on-sale set for April 24 at 10a. Find the link here for more information.

Illenium made history as the first electronic artist to headline the Sphere back in March and April with nine dates that reflected the “emotional storytelling, maximalist production, and world-building” around his album Odyssey on Republic Records, which was released last February.

During his prior Sphere residency, Illenium introduced new material such as “Feels Like You,” “Love Is a Chemical” and “Monster.”  A variety of special guests joined him onstage to perform album cuts such as  “Don’t Want Your Love” with global pop icon Ellie Goulding, “Feel Live” with Bastille and Dabin,  “Forever”with Tom Grennan,  “To The Moon” with Alok and “In My Arms” with HAYLA and Wooli, as well as songs from his 2023 self-titled album, Shivering.  The set also featured a brand-new single, “Die Living,” a collaboration with David Guetta and Dustin Lynch, which included a string quartet as one of the highlights of the show.

Illenium Presents Odyssey takes advantage of the venue’s multi-sensory experience, high-resolution LED display and its advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound. The mind-bending visuals were designed by Berlin-based animation studio Woodblock in collaboration with Sphere Studios, known for cinematic storytelling and immersive design.  The story begins with Illenium’s symbol, a fiery phoenix rising from the ashes and then threading around two female warriors in search of each other, who learn self-acceptance and forgiveness, ultimately discovering themselves with a feeling of wholeness. In between the audience is taken through vortexes and wormholes, far away planets and into the demon’s lair, the classic hero’s journey.
