Jimmy Eat World has added a handful of East Coast dates to its 25th anniversary tour in celebration of its Bleed American album. The tour promises to feature the LP played in its entirety, along with “much more” that an announcement notes that fans will “have to wait to see and hear!”

When the tour was first announced, the pop-punk/alternative rock band said in a statement, “Bleed American found its way into a lot of lives. None of us were thinking in terms of 5 years, let alone 25 years. If you were ever in the crowd singing along to these songs with us, this tour is for you.”

Lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins added: “I feel like at this time in our lives, especially for me, it’s important to get back to a place that you can savor. This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”

The tour kicks off June  9 in Morrison, Colorado, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and runs through November.

The new dates include stops at The Muse in Nantucket, Massachusetts; Bridgeport, Connecticut at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater; and Asbury Park, New Jersey, at Stone Pony Summer Stage.

Tickets for the new gigs go on sale Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. ET.

Jimmy Eat World will be joined on tour by the following special guests on select dates: Rise Against, Hot Mulligan, Sunny Day Real Estate, Thrice, Motion City Soundtrack, Mom Jeans, Minus the Bear, The Get Up Kids, PUP, Sparta, Hey Mercedes, Girls Against Boys, Illuminati Hotties, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and Jay Som.
