Singer/songwriter and 10-time Grammy nominee Jamey Johnson will embark on his headlining, 31-date Traveling Truebadour Tour, which launches May 8 at the Anderson Music Hall in Hiawassee, GA, and runs through Oct. 11 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 17 at 10a local time at jameyjohnson.com/tour

The Grand Ole Opry member, dubbed by the Washington Post “one of the greatest country singers of our time,” is known for playing a different set list every night, tailoring his performance to each audience. The tour will feature songs from his latest album, Midnight Gasoline, and new music from his upcoming album, as well as hits including “In Color” and “High Cost of Living.” This year marks the 20th anniversary of his major label debut, The Dollar.

The Eagles’ Don Henley has called Johnson “the nearest thing” to the late country legend George Jones. The singer-songwriter/guitar-slinger is one of only two people in the history of country music (along with Kris Kristofferson) to win two Song of the Year awards in the same year – for “Give It Away” and “In Color” – from both the ACM and CMA.

According to recent Pollstar Boxoffice Reports, some of Johnson’s recent touring data include shows at Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center
Bowling Green, KY on Jan. 10, 2026 where he grossed $151,278 on 1,712 with an average ticket price range between $40-$200; and a sold-out show at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland, CA on Dec. 11, 2005 that yielded $170,362 from 2,336 tickets with average ticket price range of $40-$200. Prior to those performances, Johnson played arenas opening for Alabama and previous to that for Riley Green.
