Meghan Trainor Cancels 33-Date Arena Summer Tour: ‘This Is The Right Decision For My Family’

Meghan Trainor announced she has “made the difficult decision” to cancel “The Get In Girl Tour” two months before she was scheduled to kick off a 33-date trek at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan.
Trainor, who was supposed to begin a Live Nation-promoted two-month arena run on June 12, posted a statement on her Instagram page explaining the reasoning behind her decision and apologized to her fans.
“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” Trainor wrote on social media. “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”
The pop singer went on to say that she knows this “will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down. But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”
Trainor announced the tour back in November, and she was set to visit major arenas across North America, including RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, New York’s Madison Square Garden, CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Denver’s Ball Arena and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
The tour was supposed to be her follow-up to 2024’s “Timeless Tour,” which marked her return to the stage after eight years. The 26-show run featured sold-out stops at Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum. That tour kicked off on Sept. 1, 2024, at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which sold 5,613 tickets, grossing $455,727. She wrapped up at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Oct. 19, selling out the venue with 12,292 tickets, grossing $997,767, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. With all 26 dates reported to Pollstar, Trainor’s “Timeless Tour” sold a total of 265,276 tickets, grossing $14.5 million. On average, the tour moved 10,203 tickets per night, with an average gross of $561,445.
Trainor is managed by Full Stop Management’s Tommy Bruce and Sali Kharazi. She’s booked by Creative Artists Agency’s Brian Manning. With 67 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Trainor has sold a total of 474,130 tickets, grossing $23.2 million. On average, she sells 7,077 tickets per show, with an average gross of $346,516.
