A new music festival is coming to South America courtesy of FTC Live, which aims to develop Ecuador as a viable touring destination. The entertainment company announced the inaugural FTC Live Al Parque with Maroon 5 headlining the festival.
The single-day event takes place Aug. 29 at Parque Bicentenario and features a diverse lineup of international stars while promoting the continent’s rising voices.
Other acts on the bill include Yandel Sinfónico, which is reggaeton legend Yandel reimagining his hits with a symphony behind him, Myke Towers, Lost Frequencies, Fruko y sus Tesos, Machaka, Chris Chil, Miel, Homero Gallardo and Armendaris.
With the festival where music, gastronomy and visual art intersect, FTC Live wants to make a cultural statement that positions Ecuador as not just a host but also as a curator.
