BTS To Bring Immersive Experiences To Las Vegas & Busan; Tour Utilizing Amazon’s Just Walk Out Technology For Merch

To go along with BTS’ latest album, ARIRANG, and upcoming shows in Las Vegas and Busan, South Korea, the K-pop superstars have announced the launch of immersive projects in the cities described as an “urban concert playground that expands the fan experience beyond the venue itself.”
BTS’ 2026-2027 tour – which marks BTS’ first trek since 2021-2022’s “Permission to Dance on Stage” – kicked off earlier this month with three nights at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea. The group is celebrating ARIRANG, which topped the Billboard 200 upon its release in March, with lead single “SWIM” debuting at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
BTS will land in Las Vegas for four nights at Allegiant Stadium May 23-24 and May 27-28 and then play Busan Asiad Stadium June 12-13. “BTS The City Arirang Las Vegas” is set for May 20-31, followed by “BTS The City Arirang Busan” June 5-21.
An announcement from BTS notes that the immersive project builds on the success of “The City Las Vegas” in 2022, promising to deliver on an even larger scale. To welcome fans to Sin City, landmark locations will be activated “with The Strip and digital marquees illuminated in the album’s signature red theme and welcome messages. ‘The City Las Vegas’ will also include themed hotel experiences, food and beverage offerings, and exclusive after-party events.”
A variety of entertainment programs is also planned for “The City Busan,” with this week’s announcement noting that detailed schedules and programming will be revealed at a later date via BTS’ official channel on the global fan platform Weverse.
In other BTS news, today Amazon Music announced that it will serve as the exclusive in-venue tour merchandise partner for all stops across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Fans will get to enjoy the convenience of Amazon’s Just Walk Out Technology, which will be “tailored to each venue’s unique layout, including merch booths outside all the venues in addition to locations inside,” according to Retail Touch Points.
“ARMY [as BTS fans are known] are among the most passionate communities in music, and they deserve a merch experience that matches their energy,” Julia Heiser, Head of Live Merch at Amazon Music, said in a statement. “We’re reinventing how fans shop for artist merch at shows by making it seamless and fan-first. By bringing Just Walk Out technology to this tour, we’re marking a genuine first in live music — deploying checkout-free technology at this scale for a North American stadium tour. We couldn’t be more excited to pioneer this with BTS.”
BTS tour dates are booked through March 2027, though specific venue information for shows scheduled from November 2026 and onward is yet to come.
Highlights from BTS’ 2022 tour include the run’s final two shows, which took place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium April 15-16, selling a total of 100,420 tickets and grossing over $18 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice.
BTS is managed by HYBE.
