Concert promoter Danny Wimmer Presents has launched DWP Concerts, a new division focused on venue development and consultation, concert promotion and strategic entertainment development, including a new, under-development 10,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Operating alongside DWP’s music festival and Talent Services division operations, DWP Concerts will be led by DWP general manager and chief marketing officer Chamie McCurry, expanding the company’s vertically integrated platform beyond festivals and meeting a growing demand for support across the live music industry, according to the announcement.

Services include strategic guidance across venue development, talent buying, marketing, creative, venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing, production and food and beverage. DWP Concerts is already working with venues including Iroquois Amphitheater (Louisville, Kentucky), Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater (Tuscaloosa, Alabama), and the Ocean Center (Daytona Beach, Florida).

“DWP Concerts is the natural evolution of the foundation we’ve built over the years. We’ve learned what works—how to connect with fans, how to build real demand, and how to execute at scale—and now we’re bringing that directly to our partners,” says DWP founder Danny Wimmer. “This isn’t just about promoting shows, it’s about helping venues and events grow the right way. That’s why bringing someone like Billy onto the team is so important—he understands what it takes at the venue level and will play a big role in helping our partners build and sustain real success.”

DWP Concerts has partnered with the city of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, consulting for and booking a new 10,000-capacity amphitheater. The venue is operated by Sports Facilities Companies and will be the largest concert amphitheater in central Kentucky, with opening date and naming rights sponsor to be announced soon.

The launch adds to DWP Talent Services’ portfolio of venues, which includes more than 30 casino venue properties across the U.S., led by head of global talent Del Williams.
