The legendary David Byrne is adding to his ongoing “Who Is The Sky” tour, with a new leg in Asia and another set of North American dates that includes stops at the Hollywood Bowl and Forest Hills Stadium.

After a previously announced European run that wraps in July, Byrne will head to Asia for five August performances, beginning in Singapore at The Star Theatre August 7. Byrne will visit Bangkok and Seoul for headline performances and Tokyo and Osaka as part of Summer Sonic.

The new U.S. dates kick off August 27 at San Diego’s Cal Coast Union Open Air Theater. He’ll play a double at the Hollywood Bowl August 28 and 29 and then switch coasts for shows at the Saratoga PAC and Forest Hills.

Byrne has 327 headline reports in the Pollstar Boxoffice database dating back to 2001. Those shows have grossed more than $56.1 million on more than 814,000 tickets.

Byrne is repped by Gersh worldwide.
