Atlas Arena Poland Boosts Capacity & Flexibility

Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland, has completed a major modernization of its safety systems and infrastructure, increasing the maximum capacity of the venue from 13,800 to 14,728 people.
“This was an important step in improving attendee safety and comfort, as well as strengthening the venue’s competitiveness on the Polish concert market,” according to today’s press announcement.
Another recent investment was made into “one of the newest curtain systems in Europe,” giving event managers and promoters new flexibility when adjusting the space to suit their needs. The installation consists of eight independent sections, enabling full or partial separation of the floor from the stands.

It also allows for the suspension of additional stage equipment, lighting and scenic elements. An experienced technical team will handle the curtain system on site, allowing organizers to focus entirely on producing their event.
To complement the flexibility of the curtain system, Atlas Arena also invested in new mobile stands: easy to install and reposition, providing event organizers with another tool to tailor the space to their needs. They are operated by the same technical team responsible for the curtain system, ensuring smooth and efficient handling throughout the event.
Atlas Arena is a multi-purpose venue operating since 2009 as Poland’s first modern large-scale indoor arena. Its central location at the intersection of major motorways, along with proximity to airports in Lodz and Warsaw, places it within easy reach of key European cities.
Over the past year, and by its own admission, the venue welcomed nearly 900,000 visitors and hosted concerts by global superstars as well as major sporting events.
