ZZ Top Plots August, September ‘The Big One!’ Dates

Texas boogie icons ZZ Top have announced a new tranche of dates in August and September for the ongoing “The Big One!” tour.
The 22 theater and amphitheater dates begin Aug. 4 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California, and includes stops across the U.S., including a double at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin Aug. 22 and 23. The run wraps Sept. 18 at Wilmington, North Carolina’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre.
The band is currently touring with Dwight Yoakam on the “Dos Amigos Tour” and has previously announced “The Big One!” dates for Europe in June and July.
The trio, which is booked by CAA’s Mario Tirado in North American and International Talent Booking’s Barry Dickins elsewhere, has 1,139 headline reports dating back to 1999 in the Poillstar Boxoffice database, with a total gross of nearly $266.3 million on more than 5 million tickets.
