Brent Freed Joins Versa’s Corporate & Brand Division

Former WME and Live Nation Talent Buyer Brent Freed has joined global talent agency Versa as part of its expansion of the company’s corporate and brand division.The company recently secured $100 million in talent deals across concert touring, festivals and brand partnerships.

Founded by industry veterans Jace Cohen and Toby Benson, Versa operates as a global talent buying partner, working with concert promoters, festivals and brands to source, negotiate and execute talent partnerships, with teams operating across North America and Asia.

Freed previously oversaw talent buying across multiple theater venues for Live Nation Las Vegas. His experience spans agency, venue, nightlife and sports, with previous stints at WME, Resorts World Las Vegas, Wynn, Palms and the Florida Marlins, where he helped develop the entertainment program at the team’s loanDepot Park.

Commented Freed on the promotion: “I’m excited to join Versa at a time of strong momentum. The team has built something special, and I look forward to contributing to its continued growth across the U.S. and internationally.”

Versa’s most recent projects include promoting Imagine Dragons’ recent mainland China tour, the largest ever by a Western artist in that country, as well as securing talent partnerships for corporate clients including Vivint, IBM and NetApp.
