Ticketmaster ‘Caught’ Harry Styles Scalpers, Will Relist Tickets At Original Price

Ticketmaster announced it “caught scalpers with thousands of tickets” to Harry Styles’ upcoming historic run at Madison Square Garden and will be releasing them for sale at their original price.
In a message posted to Ticketmaster’s social media, the company’s Global President, Saumil Mehta, said scalpers using “multiple accounts” and “fake identities” in order to circumvent ticket limits were holding on to thousands of “Together, Together In NYC!” tickets. Ticketmaster, Mehta said, identified those scalpers and canceled the tickets.
He emphasized that anyone who bought directly from Ticketmaster or bought resell tickets and transferred them into a Ticketmaster account would not be affected by the cancellation.
Fans will be able to request tickets on Ticketmaster’s Harry Styles page starting at noon April 30. Ticket requests will close at 5 p.m. May 1.
Fans whose ticket requests are granted will receive an email confirming their order by May 8 at 11:59 p.m.
