HAYLA Announces North American Dates: ‘The Dark Tour’

unnamed

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter HAYLA has unveiled the routing for the North American “The Dark Tour,” which is described as a continuation of “a new bold statement of intent and a clear signal of her musical evolution.”

An announcement from her team adds that her last tour leaned into HAYLA’s EDM roots – with a setlist including “In My Arms” with Illenium, “FADED” with Nelly Furtado, and “Where You Are” and “Shiver” with John Summit – and the next tour will “serve as part of her reinvention.”

She’s also been featured on tracks by artists including KYGO, Meduza, Sub Focus, Kx5 (deadmau5 & Kaskade), Wilkinson and more.

Now she’s focused on new music of her own, including her recently released single, “Heal” featuring her alto vocals along with a piano and strings arrangement. More new tunes are yet to come this year.

The announcement notes “the sound she calls ‘sad bitch music’ is emotionally heavy yet hopeful, melancholic but empowering. Themes of loss, love, grief, and resilience run throughout. Rather than offering answers, the music holds space allowing listeners to find their own meaning.”

“The Dark tour” starts in Chicago with an Aug. 6 show at Concord. Stops include Toronto, Brooklyn, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and a final gig at Los Angeles’ The Fonda, among other performances.

A fan presale starts April 29, followed by a Spotify presale April 30 and the general onsale on Friday, May 1. Fans can sign up for the presale HERE and get tickets here
