Pollstar Announces Data-Sharing Agreement With Victory Live, Adds Average Secondary Market Ticket Prices

Today, Pollstar, the “Voice of Live,” and Victory Live, a leading-edge technology platform focused on optimizing live event ticketing, announced a data-sharing agreement that will give Pollstar subscribers access to average U.S. secondary-market ticket prices for touring artists directly within artist research pages on Pollstar.com. As part of the partnership, Victory Live will also incorporate Pollstar’s official primary-market ticket price averages into its platform for client use.
Starting today, all Pollstar Pro and Ultimate subscribers will see, where available, a 36-month average U.S. secondary-market ticket price included on Artist Tour History pages. This metric appears beneath each artist’s 36-month average gross, tickets sold, and average ticket price on the primary market, as well as upcoming tour dates, Pollstar chart appearances and team contact information.
“The addition of secondary ticket price data powered by Victory Live is a powerful tool that will further enable the live industry to make more informed pricing decisions for their artists,” said Andy Gensler, Editor-in-Chief of Pollstar. “This provides a powerful new metric of an artist’s market value as reflected by secondary ticket buyers. We’re pleased to make this feature immediately available to all Pollstar subscribers.”
