Lukas Nelson & Molly Tuttle Announce Co-Headline Tour

Lukas Nelson and Molly Tuttle are teaming up for a run of co-headline dates along the East Coast in September, promising five special nights of Americana and bluegrass.
The routing starts Sept. 4 at Hyannis, Massachusetts’ Cape Cod Melody Tent, followed by stops at Cohasset, Massachusetts’ South Short Music Circus, Albany, New York’s Palace Theatre, Shelburne, Vermont’s The Green at Shelburne Museum and Sidney, Maine’s Bowl in the Pines.
Tickets will be available via a pre-sale starting tomorrow, May 6 at 10 a.m. local time, with the public onsale on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m.
Today’s announcement explains that each night “will feature full sets from both artists, highlighting Nelson’s road-tested band energy, soulful songwriting, and expansive Americana sound alongside Tuttle’s virtuosic guitar work, warm vocals, and boundary-pushing blend of bluegrass, Americana, and rock. With Nelson and Tuttle known for their dynamic live performances and deep connection with audiences, the evening promises a memorable night of music.”
Nelson is continuing to support his debut solo full-length album, American Romance, which he released last summer. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Country Album and received praise from critics including a review from Forbes describing the LP as “a collection of rich, detailed songs that chronicle restless life lessons and open-hearted adventures.”
Ahead of the co-headline dates with Tuttle, Nelson will play a number of stops on the Outlaw Festival with Willie Nelson, along with his own headline dates, gigs with Tedeschi Trucks Band and a few festival appearances.
Tuttle released her fifth full-length album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine, last year, which was nominated for Best Americana Album, and its lead single, “That’s Gonna Leave A Mark,” earned a nomination for Best Americana Performance. Today’s announcement points out that the single “became her biggest radio success to date, spending four weeks at #1 on Americana Radio and debuting in the Top 20 at AAA.” Her previous two albums, 2023’s City of Gold and 2022’s Crooked Tree, both won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.
Tuttle’s upcoming tour dates include co-bill dates lined up with Maggie Rose, a few nights on Little Feat’s farewell tour, gigs with Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and several appearances on Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show.
