The Revivalists Release New Single & Tour Dates With ‘Honest Ticket’ Program

Happy Friday from The Revivalists! The New Orleans-based rock band have released a new single, “Razorblades and Runways,” along with new U.S. headline dates in support of the upcoming album Get It Honest.
The single is described as “a bittersweet hint of soft soul” that sees frontman David Shaw “lamenting days wasted chasing a thrill or his own ego, but celebrating how his family now keeps him moving forward.”
Get It Honest is due out July 24, with vinyl pre-orders/pre-saves available now.
“Looking back, I spent years chasing thrills fueled by ego,” Shaw said in a statement. “Now I get to pursue my craft with the same passion, but instead the thing that drives me is my family, my wife, my daughter, my friends, and Ricky Peach, my cat who gets a nod in this tune.”
The “Get It Honest Tour” launches with the band’s annual gigs at the Chicken Box in Nantucket, Massachusetts, July 14-15 and runs through November. The Revivalist’s fall plans also include a voyage with Sixthman, The Revivalists Present Otherside of Paradise at Sea, which sails from Miami, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas, aboard Norwegian Jewel Nov. 3-7.
Today’s announcement from the band’s team points out that highlights from the upcoming routing include “a much-anticipated ‘Opry 100’ celebration at Nashville, TN’s historic Grand Ole Opry alongside such stars as Taylor Hicks, Kathy Mattea, Steven Curtis Chapman, Ricky Skaggs, and others (May 22), a performance at Vancouver, BC’s FIFA Fan Festival™ concert series as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 (June 11), a record-release weekend headline set at David Shaw’s Big River Get Down in Hamilton, OH (July 25), a very special run supporting The Red Clay Strays (including New York City’s Madison Square Garden on August 9), and their annual return to Morrison, CO’s world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre (September 25).”
Support acts on select dates include Robert Randolph, Ax and the Hatchetmen, Paul McDonald, Wells Ferrari, True Loves, Rustic Overtones, and Olivia Barnes.
The Revivalists has teamed up with nonprofit Concerted on an “honest ticket” program, giving fans who volunteer for two hours of community service the chance to get a ticket.
Tickets go on sale to the general public today.
