Blondshell Shares New Song & Biggest Global Headline Tour Yet

Blondshell 2026 Tour Poster

Blondshell has announced the release of a new song, along with what’s being called her biggest global headline tour yet. The trek includes gigs at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Terminal 5 in her hometown of New York City and the Roundhouse in London.

The indie rock singer/songwriter just made her debut at Coachella last month and was recently confirmed as taking part in 2026’s superjam at Coachella on June 13 aka “KESHA PRESENTS: SUPERJÂM ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP.” You can also catch her on stage playing her own set at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, June 14.

Following Bonnaroo and a few other festival appearances, Blondshell’s North American headline tour kicks off Oct. 14 at San Diego’s Observatory North Park, with dates booked through a Nov. 7 show in Boston. The European routing launches Dec. 6 with a show at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The trek, dubbed “Scaring Strangers Tour,” takes its name from a lyric in “Heart Has To Work So Hard.”

The single “Heart Has To Work So Hard” is fans’ first look at Blondshell’s next album, a follow-up to If You Asked For A Picture, which wsa featured on numerous Best Of 2025 and Best Of 2025 (So far) lists.

“Heart Has To Work So Hard” is described as “a kinetic, propulsive introduction to Blondshell’s most urgent songwriting to date. Opening with drums and bass locked in a locomotive pulse, the track builds with a relentless momentum as Blondshell’s cool, controlled monotone mimics the sound of an overworked heart. That driving mechanical tension surges into an instantly addictive chorus, where she pairs a standout vocal performance with the sharp turns-of-phrase that she’s become known for- a feral declaration on the fallout of a fraying friendship:”

You give me paws
You get me scaring strangers
You get me criticizing
You make this feel like labor
My heart has to work so hard when you’re around

Blondshell says: “This song is really about friendship and betrayal, getting stuck in a dynamic and letting things fester. It’s about pain and confusion — no one trains you for the ups and downs of a friendship between two women — but it’s also about a love so enduring that you find compassion no matter what.”

The artist is managed by Another Management Company’s Shira Knishkowy. Her tour dates are booked in North America by TBA and in the rest of the world by ROAM’s Sarah Joy and Alex Bruford.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. local time.

Blondshell will be supported on select dates by Bully, Starcleaner Reunion, Prewn, TTSSFU, and Theatre.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Blondshell include a June 2025 show at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC that sold 1,200 tickets and grossed $30,000.
