Enter Shikari Cancel North America Dates Citing Visa Issues

English rock band Enter Shikari has canceled upcoming dates in North America citing “visa issues that look extremely unlikely to be sorted,” with tours on both coasts called off and refunds promised.

“We wish we were here with better news,” the band shared on an Instagram post. “Unfortunately despite best efforts at our end, due to ongoing visa issues that look extremely unlikely to be sorted before some massive financial decisions need to be made, we’re in the position where we have to cancel both legs of the planned touring in North America this year, along with our Warped Tour and Summerfest appearances.”

Dates were to begin with an East Coast tour kicking off in Boston June 6, with dates into the end of the month including Summerfest in Milwaukee. A separate West Coast tour was to kick off Sept. 25 in Austin and continue through Oct. 10 at the Pacific Electric in Los Angeles.

“If you know us, you know that this isn’t a decision taken lightly and we’re gutted that we’re not able to be with you in 2026,” the post continues. “We’re already start the process of trying to make plans for 2027, but with uncertainty around the timeframes getting visas secured, we did not want to simply postpone and reschedule these shows, hence full cancellation and refunding of ticket purchases.”

The band surprise-released new album Lose Your Self April 10 accompanied by dates in Europe and Australia. The band has upcoming arena dates in the UK for November, with shows at venues including Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Utilita Arena in Cardiff, OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Co-op Live in Manchester and two dates at Alexandra Palace in London.

The band tours regularly, with a recent press release claiming the band has done more than 3,000 concerts worldwide. Last year was no exception, with extensive dates in Australia and Europe, and 2024 included a lengthy North America tour as well in the fall.

Enter Shikari is represented by ROAM in North and South America and X-ray Touring outside the Americas.
