Tom Morello Organizes Power To The People Festival With Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Headlining

Tom Morello is bringing “a non-partisan celebration day of peace, love, justice and music” this October to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The guitarist and singer announced Power To The People Festival, a single-day event that features special performances by Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Jack Black and many more.

The event features nearly two dozen acts performing on two stages. Other acts include Dropkick Murphys, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, Serj Tankian of System Of A Down, Brittany Howard, The Linda Lindas and Taylor Momsen.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to VoteRiders, an organization that aims to eliminate ID barriers to the ballot box, and Headcount will be on-site to help attendees register to vote and learn how to participate in the upcoming elections. The presale begins May 29 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general onsale, which begins May 30 at 10 a.m.
