The International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) has named Nashville industry veteran Lauren Tingle as its new Director of Marketing & Communications.

Tingle joins IEBA following nearly two decades in music journalism, radio programming, content strategy and technology. Her experience includes leadership roles with iHeartRadio, CMT and Apple Music, where she developed more than 230 original programs distributed in over 160 countries. During her tenure at Apple Music, she also worked on integrating artificial intelligence technologies into programming, fueling a passion for AI ethics and governance.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lauren to the IEBA team,” said Brian Wagner, Executive Director of IEBA in the announcement. “Her unique combination of music industry expertise, storytelling ability, technological insight and deep relationships throughout the entertainment business makes her an exceptional addition to our organization. Lauren brings a fresh perspective and a proven track record of connecting audiences with meaningful content, and we’re excited for the impact she will have on IEBA, the Educational Outreach Fund and the members and students we serve.”

Tingle has already begun her role and will support communications and marketing efforts for both IEBA and the IEBA Educational Outreach Fund, helping advance the organizations’ shared mission of strengthening the live entertainment industry and investing in its future workforce. The not-for-profit trade organization was founded in 1970 and serves more than 2,000 members who buy, book and sell talent.  IEBA’s 56th Annual Conference will take place Oct. 4–6 in Nashville, Tennessee.
