Pitbull Fans To Attempt Guinness World Record For Largest Gathering Of People Wearing Bald Caps 

Some people pick out their coolest outfits for concerts, while The Bald E’s – aka Pitbull fans – put on their bald caps. Next week, Mr. Worldwide will take the stage at London’s BST Hyde Park and his devoted following will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. 

Those who can’t make it to the July 10 show will have the chance to join in on the fun via a global livestream of the performance on Pitbull’s official YouTube channel.

The 2-3 hour livestream, produced by Live Nation, will be presented in the style of a major sports broadcast featuring co-hosted commentary from British TV, podcaster and radio personality, Jamie Laing; cultural commentator and presenter of The Jack & Ash Show, Jack Remmington and American comedian and actress, Heather McMahan.

An announcement explains that “the trio will conduct live field reporting and interactive fan moments designed to immerse viewers in the energy of BST Hyde Park. Coverage will include fan interviews, behind-the-scenes access, and live performance moments, all building toward the climactic onstage presentation of the official Guinness World Record™ title.” 

The fan-driven phenomenon of fans wearing bald caps in tribute to the super star’s iconic look can be seen in clips on Instagram and TikTok. The rapper even sells bald caps via his official store, with options including a bald cap for $15 or the Mr Worldwide Kit featuring a bald cap, bowtie and Pitbull’s signature aviator sunglasses. 

American Express Presents BST Hyde Park is just the latest stop on Pitbull’s “I’M BACK Tour.” Live Nation notes that Pitbull has already surpassed 2 million tickets sold across 27 countries, with the trek “shaping up to be the biggest solo tour of his career.”
