Ultra Worldwide Celebrates Eight Spots On 2026 DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals Ranking

Ultra Worldwide hails a “landmark achievement”, as the company finds eight of its events among the 2026 Top 100 Festivals ranking published annually by DJ Mag.

The brand’s flagship festival, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, FL, takes the number four spot, where its surrounded by prestigious competition including Tomorrowland (Belgium) on the top spot, EDC Las Vegas on second place, and Untold Festival (Romania) on third.

Rounding out the top 5 is Defqon.1 (Netherlands), which ended prematurely this year because the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) had issued a code red heat warning after day one.

The top 10 of DJ Mag’s 2026 Top 100 Festivals also features Sunburn Festival (India) in sixth place, which moved to a new location last year, the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai; UK electronic music mainstay Creamfields on seventh; Kappa Futurfestival (Italu) on eight; Glastonbury Festival (UK), which is having a year off in 2026, on number nine; and Germany’s Parookaville on tenth spot.

Ultra’s remaining events on the DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals list include Ultra Europe (#47), Ultra Japan (#59), Ultra Korea (#70), Ultra Taiwan (#74), Ultra Buenos Aires (#82), Ultra Australia (#86), and Ultra South Africa (#96).

“This marks the first time any organization has been recognized on the list across all six inhabited continents, further cementing Ultra’s Worldwide’s stature as the most international music festival brand,” according to the press release from Ultra celebrating this feat.

Ultra Miami’s most recent installment welcomed 165,000 dance music enthusiasts from 100 countries to Bayfront Park, March 27-29, 2026. Highlights included a surprise Skrillex appearance during BZRP’s headlining set, as well as the main stage takeover from Swedish House Mafia, whose curated “festival within a festival” tapped Eric Prydz for a rare back-to-back alongside additional featured performers such as Armand Van Helden, Boys Noize, Afrojack and more.

Ultra’s Australian events took place April 11-12 in both Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne and Broadwater Parklands, Gold Coast; Ultra Peru in Lima, May 2; and Ultra South Africa in both Cape Town (April 30) and Johannesburg (May 1). Ultra also premiered in Wellington, New Zealand, April 10.

Right around the corner is the 12th edition of ULTRA Europe in Split, Croatia, taking place July 10-12, featuring headlining performances from Calvin Harris (performing at the festival for the first time), Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla, FISHER, Hardwell, John Summit, Martin Garrix, Mau P, Sara Landry, Subtronics, and more.

After that, ULTRA Japan returns for its 11th edition, Sept. 19-20, at Tokyo Odaiba ULTRA Park, with headliners including Alesso, The Martinez Brothers, Peggy Gou, Sara Landry, Worship, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, and Zedd B2B Knock2.

Ultra Mexico returns after an eight-year hiatus for its third edition, taking place at its new home Estadio Banorte Square in Mexico City, Nov. 7-8, and Ultra Taiwan just announced its return for its sixth edition, Nov. 14, 2026, at Dajia Riverside Park in Taipei City.
