On July 4, 2026, Italian superstar Ultimo brought together 250,000 fans at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, delivering what stands among the largest single-artist concerts ever staged in Europe.

Produced and promoted by Vivo Concerti, “La Favola Per Sempre” – A Fairytale Forever, the name given to the show – transformed the Tor Vergata site into a purpose-built live entertainment city, setting a new benchmark for the scale of contemporary concert production,” according to a press release from Vivo Concerti.

Ultimo arrived to the show in a helicopter, and flew over the entire event site before landing. Moments later, he emerged from beneath the stage to perform “Pianeti,” while the words “Blessed are the last, for they shall be first” appeared across the giant screens, welcoming the 250,000 fans gathered below.

The production itself reflected the unprecedented scale of the event: The main stage measured 140 meters wide and 60 meters high, crowned by a monumental illuminated structure reproducing Ultimo’s signature and connected to the audience by a 30-meter infinity-shaped catwalk.

Behind the scenes, the event required an extraordinary production and logistical operation, involving:

  • more than 10,000 workers across production, logistics, operations and services
  • over 500 trucks transporting staging, delay towers, grandstands and production equipment
  • more than 2,500 security and crowd management personnel
  • over 500 medical professionals, supported by 10 first-aid stations and 20 ambulances
  • more than 2,000 portable toilets
  • 20 water tanks supplying 560 free refill points
  • 46 arena concession stands, 48 food trucks, more than one kilometre of food and beverage outlets, and 170 roaming vendors
  • more than 40 kilometers of crowd barriers
  • over 120 kilometers of electrical cabling
  • 38 audio and video towers

The event was made possible through a multidisciplinary collaboration between Vivo Concerti, the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the City of Rome, with the support of Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, Councillor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion Alessandro Onorato and Rector Nathan Levialdi Ghiron.

Born in 1996, Ultimo has become one of Europe’s leading live artists. At just 30 years old, he has now performed 42 stadium shows, sold more than two million tickets throughout his career, headlined Rome’s Circo Massimo, played 10 sold-out concerts at Stadio Olimpico, and now adds the Tor Vergata event to a career defined by record-breaking live performances.
