Atlas Arena Poland Celebrates 250,000 Visitors In Six Months

More than 250,000 people visited Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland, during the first six months of 2026, placing the venue among Europe’s leading indoor arenas and reinforcing the city of Łódź’s growing reputation as a destination for live entertainment and concert tourism.
From January through the end of June 2026, Atlas Arena hosted 32 events, attracting a total of more than 250,000 attendees. Six of those events sold out.
The concert lineup at Atlas Arena so far in 2026 included Kings of Leon, André Rieu, Deftones, Alphaville, NE-YO, AKON, Wu-Tang Clan, and 5 Seconds of Summer. RAYE launched the European leg of her “This Tour May Contain New Music” tour at Atlas Arena.
The venue also witnessed one of the most energetic shows of the first half of the year when Ken Carson and the Opium collective brought their devoted fanbase to Łódź.
The arena also welcomed some of Poland’s biggest domestic stars, including FRIENDZ, and Agnieszka Chylińska, whose anniversary concert celebrating her 50th birthday became one of the most talked-about events of the season and was broadcast live on nationwide television.
The program also featured an event called “50 Groundbreaking Songs of Polish Hip-Hop” (“50 przelomowych utworow w historii polskiego hip hopu”), where leading representatives of the Polish rap scene shared one stage, invited by the event’s host, O.S.T.R. (Adam Ostrowski), a Polish rapper, musician and producer..
Complementing the musical offering, major sporting and entertainment events also took place at the venue during the first half of the year: Perlage Cavaliada Tour, one of Poland’s most prestigious equestrian competitions, was held in Łódź for the first time.
Atlas Area also welcomed the return of the ORLEN Cup indoor athletics, the DOZ Łódź Marathon, Polish Cabaret Night, and a Stand-up Comedy Festival.
The first six months of 2026 also saw the several upgrades implemented at the venue: its maximum capacity was increased to 14,728 seats; a new draping system and additional retractable seating were installed, providing greater flexibility in configuring the arena for different event formats.
Construction is currently underway to modernize the venue’s backstage facilities and warm-up areas for sports events.
“Although largely invisible to audiences, these improvements play a crucial role in the successful delivery of major productions. They will streamline operations for large-scale events, improve working conditions for touring crews, and further strengthen Atlas Arena’s position as one of Poland’s leading multipurpose arenas,” a press release summarizing the building’s performance during the first six months of 2026 states.
It also cites data published by the Łódź Tourism Organization for the first half of 2026, which confirms the growing importance of event tourism in the city.
During major concerts at Atlas Arena, hotel occupancy in Łódź reached between 85% and 97%. The highest hotel occupancy rates were recorded during the aforementioned “50 Years – Agnieszka Chylińska & Guests” (97%) and “The Great Return of FRIENDZ” (96%), both driven by local Polish artists. According to the Łódź Tourism Organization, the number of domestic tourists visiting Łódź increased by 13% compared with the first half of 2025.
The second half of 2026 at Atlas Arena looks equally busy. Upcoming performances at include Marilyn Manson, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Placebo, Hollywood Vampires, Jungle, and Pitbull. A$AP Rocky will perform in Łódź twice, while local acts Oki, Mrozu, and Coma will also take the stage.
Upcoming sports highlights include the Polish Handball Super Cup, alongside family entertainment productions including the Harlem Globetrotters, Freestyle Heroes, and Hot Wheels Stunt Show.
With all that in mind, Atlas Arena is well positioned to finish 2026 with one of the strongest attendance records in its history.
