ORIGIN Los Angeles Set To Open In Downtown Los Angeles In Coming Months 

Electronic music fans will soon have an enhanced indoor/outdoor entertainment space in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District to call their home away from home. ORIGIN Los Angeles is set to open in late summer/early fall 2026 as a continuation of Lot 613, the industrial event venue located at 613 Imperial Street. 

The new venue, which will have a capacity of approximately 1,000, is being designed to cater specifically to electronic music, while “designed to transform–shifting seamlessly between club nights, live concerts, promoter partnerships, private events, and large-scale cultural activations.” 

A lineup for ORIGIN Los Angeles will be revealed soon. In the meantime, the venue’s team revealed that Fridays will feature “live top-tier and indie electronic bookings and more forward-thinking programming, while Saturdays will alternate between daytime outdoor experiences and late-night house and techno programming.” The venue will also feature  special quarterly Arts District parties by utilizing its indoor and outdoor space. 

ORIGIN Los Angeles was founded by Roni Mehrabian and Cyril Bitar, who are behind successful LA nightlife brands SBCLTR and Minimal Effort and the creators of iconic dance events LABRYINTO, Brunch Electronik, The Maze, FLOAT, and Resolutions. 

The venue features a futuristic design by Marc Dizon, who has worked on Brooklyn Mirage, Output – New York, Hakkasan – Las Vegas, Sound – Los Angeles. An announcement notes that the “venue is equipped with a custom analog KV2 Audio system, specifically designed and tuned for the space. This is a purpose-built system focused on clarity, depth, and consistency, delivering even sound distribution from the dance floor to the mezzanine for a consistent listening experience. The dedicated outdoor system is engineered for open-air conditions, maintaining sound quality and presence while respecting the surrounding environment. Every element of production is designed to support artists and elevate performance.”
