Rammstein Frontman Draws 25,000 To Till Fest Germany

Leipzig, Germany, became what promoter Handwerker Promotion described as “the epicenter of the international industrial and metal scene,” July 3-4, when Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann brought his Till Fest to the iconic Monument to the Battle of the Nations.

The motto of the inaugural Till Fest: One Festival. Two Shows. Two Worlds. More than 25,000 fans from 57 countries witnessed two open-air concerts headlined by Till Lindemann, of course, who received a triumphant homecoming in his birthplace.

According to a press recap from Handwerker Promotion, “the audience created an electrifying atmosphere throughout both nights.” The performances marked Lindemann’s only European concerts in 2026.

The supporting cast featured legendary industrial metal institution Ministry, led by frontman Al Jourgensen, who performed two different sets on both nights. For Ministry, too, these shows marked their only European appearances in 2026. The Till Fest line-up also featured Hemlock, Hocico, Aesthetic Perfection, Kite Thief, Lowlife, Cober Mouth, ERDLING, and Mimi Barks – a unique combination of industrial, metal, electro, and contemporary heavy sounds that merged into an “intense and immersive overall experience,” according to the promoter.

Lindemann last toured Europe in 2025, playing arenas and selling between 5,000 and 10,000 tickets wherever he went. Some highlights reported Pollstar Boxoffice include a sold out Romexpo convention center in Bucharest, Romania, Dec. 4, 2025, where he moved 6,531 tickets at a $549,358 gross; or 12,981 tickets sold for his Nov. 29 performance at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, grossing $1,164,893.

In the beginning of 2026, Lindemann ventured to Australia for the first time as a solo artist, and did reasonably well, opening the short run with 2,127 tickets sold and $206,318 grossed at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, and closing it with 1,596 ticket sold and $157,879 grossed at Metro City in Northbridge.
