Issa Rae, Prentice Penny Embarking On ‘Insecure: 10th Anniversary Tour’

Ten years after premiering her hit series Insecure, writer, producer and actress Issa Rae is bringing some nostalgia to U.S. theaters this fall and celebrating the show’s anniversary alongside showrunner Prentice Penny.

The 13-city tour promoted by Live Nation kicks off Sept. 10 at The Met Philadelphia presented by Highmark. The routing includes stops at The Fillmore Detroit, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Brooklyn Paramount in New York, Palazzo Theatre in Las Vegas, Chicago Theatre and Houston’s Bayou Music Center before wrapping up Oct. 8 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

Rae and Penny recently celebrated the show’s anniversary by launching their podcast, BLOCC PARTY: AN INSECURE PODCAST, and the duo is ready to bring the conversation to U.S. stages along with special guest appearances by Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis and Natasha Rothwell on select dates.
