Offering convenience and helping to lower the negative environmental impact of carbon from vehicles, the MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis are providing round-trip, special event train service to concerts and the Savannah Bananas at Gillette Stadium throughout the summer and fall.
Special event train service has been scheduled for the full lineup of 2026 concerts at Gillette Stadium, marking the third straight year that the MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis have provided special event train service for the Gillette Stadium Concert Series presented by Dunkin’.
Located in Foxborough, Gillette Stadium has a capacity of 64,628 and is the home to the NFL New England Patriots and the MLS New England Revolution. The stadium is one of the world’s top grossing concert venues, according to Pollstar, with more than 100 concerts in venue history. Additionally, Gillette Stadium has hosted several notable sporting events including seven 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup matches.
Special event train service will also be provided when the Savannah Bananas bring Banana Ball to Gillette Stadium for the first time (Aug. 28-29) as well as BTS’ “World Tour ARIRANG” (Aug. 5-6), Chris Brown and Usher’s “The R&B Tour” (Aug. 17), Bruno Mars’ “The Romantic Tour” (Sept. 5-6), Karol G: “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour” (Sept. 12), Ed Sheeran’s “LOOP Tour” (Sept. 25-26) and Zach Bryan’s “With Heavon On Tour” (Oct. 2-3).
The Savannah Bananas, Mars, Karol G, Sherran and Bryan dates will feature service from Boston and Providence. All other concerts have service from Boston only.
Boston special event trains will depart from South Station with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center before arriving at Foxboro Station. Providence special event trains will depart from Providence Station and make stops at Pawtucket/Central Falls, Attleboro and Mansfield before arriving at Foxboro Station. The complete special event train schedule for each event will be published closer to each respective date.
The train is projected to arrive in Foxborough approximately 90 minutes to an hour before each event and departs Foxboro Station 30 minutes after each event ends.
Roundtrip tickets are $20 and can be purchased beginning at 11:00 AM local time two weeks before each event date exclusively via the mTicket app. Weekend event tickets will go on sale at 11:00 AM on the Friday leading up to the weekend two weeks before the event.
For events with multiple Gillette Stadium dates, tickets will go on sale two weeks before the first date. These are special event trains and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains.
