Post Malone To Headline FIFA World Cup 2026 Closing Ceremony

The final World Cup game just got even more star power with news that Post Malone will headline the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.
The game, between Spain and Argentina, takes place at New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford July 19.
The closing ceremony will start at 13:30 local time, 90 minutes before kick-off, and is produced in creative partnership with Balich Wonder Studio.
“At a time when sport, culture and global attention converge, Post Malone will deliver a performance designed to celebrate the tournament’s journey and ignite the atmosphere before the world’s attention turns to the two finalists,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
He added, “We are thrilled to have so many stars taking to the pitch, from both the football and entertainment worlds. The closing ceremony will set the tone for a historic FIFA World Cup final, uniting the passion of 48 teams, 16 host cities and millions of fans on one unforgettable stage.”
Post Malone, who recently released his debut country album, F-1 Trillion, has a catalog that include diamond-certified hits including “rockstar,” “I Fall Apart,” “Congratulations,” “Circles” and “Sunflower.”
Last week FIFA announced that Justin Bieber would be joining Madonna, Shakira and BTS as co-headliners of the highly anticipated halftime show on July 19. The 11-minute halftime show, curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, also includes Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and PS22 Chorus, a choir of 4th- and 5th-graders from a Staten Island elementary school, featuring Coldplay.
