Garth Brooks is extending his stay in Indianapolis in August. The country star announced two additional shows, including a new kickoff date at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, due to demand.

Brooks will now begin his “Blame It All On My Roots” arena tour on Aug. 20 and conclude his Indianapolis run with a matinee show Aug. 22, totaling four consecutive nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and priced at $154, not including applicable taxes. There will be no presales or advance box office sales. All tickets go on sale simultaneously, and there is an eight-ticket limit per purchase.

Additional details on the arena trek haven’t been revealed, but the outing has been described as “a full-scale return to featuring the return of the iconic drum pod and the production that changed live music forever.” Visit garthbrooks.com for more information.

“Drum Pod” refers to his 1996 arena tour, which is etched forever in country music history by the popular live album Double Live.

Brooks’ tour dates are booked by WME.  He’s managed by Bob Doyle.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Brooks include two shows at Milwaukee’s Summerfest June 16-17 that sold a total of 44,301 tickets and grossed more than $10 million.
