Porter Robinson, FISHER Headlining Inaugural Freaky Deaky NOLA

Disco Presents, Encore Entertainment and The Metropolitan and Amps Events are bringing something freaky to New Orleans this October. The four promoters are teaming up for the inaugural Freaky Deaky New Orleans on Halloween weekend, Oct. 30-31, with a DJ set from Porter Robinson, FISHER, Of The Trees and Chris Lorenzo on the bill.
The new festival builds off the success of Freaky Deaky in Texas, bringing one of the most recognizable Halloween and electronic music brands to Mardis Gras World in New Orleans. The event will be an immersive Halloween playground featuring stellar production, theatrical staging, roaming performers, interactive experiences, local vendors and costumed fans.
Other acts on the bill for the marquee Halloween event include Dabin, JKYL & HYDE, Devault, Know Good, Canabliss, Bradeazy, Xandra and Skilah. Additional artists will be announced.
Two-day passes and single-day passes go on sale July 23 at 10 a.m. CST. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early because prices increase closer to the festival. Visit freakydeakynola.com to buy passes.
The festival is a homecoming for Disco Presents founder James “Disco” Estopinal Jr., who is from the area and began his career throwing underground raves in his hometown over 30 years ago.
“New Orleans is home. It’s where I threw my first raves over 30 years ago, so this one’s personal. Ryan, Rob, Mike and I have all been part of this scene for a long time, and bringing Freaky Deaky here together just feels right. I think people are going to love what we’ve built,” said Estopinal Jr., who is working with local promoters to produce the event.
VIP tables are available. Contact ryan@encoreentertainmentllc.com or mike@themetronola.com for more information.
