WME Signs Colton Dawson

After recently signing with Warner Records Nashville, rising country artist Colton Dawson has hit another career milestone with news that he’s signed with WME for global representation.

The Arizona native, who is making a name for himself with his “smooth vocals, sharp guitar work, and classic country storytelling,” is managed by TKO Artist Management. His trio of recently released debut songs include  “Might Be In It,” “It’s Gonna Rain,” and “Piece of Heaven.”

“Colton has a voice and presence that immediately grabs your attention,” WME’s Barry Jeffrey said in a statement. “There’s an authenticity to what he does that feels deeply rooted in country music while still connecting with a new generation of fans. We’re excited to be part of what’s ahead.”

Dawson added, “Signing with WME is a huge milestone for me. I grew up loving country music and dreaming about playing these kinds of stages, so to now have a team that believes in what I’m building means the world. I’m ready to get out there and keep earning it every night.”

Dawson’s PR team notes that Dawson has a smooth sound “that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly current,” with inspiration from “legends like Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, Randy Travis and Vince Gill.” The announcement adds that he had a breakout moment in November when opening for Clay Walker at the famed Ryman Auditorium, “where Dawson received two standing ovations performing with only his guitar.” Dawson went on to open for artists including Lainey Wilson, Cole Swindell, Braxton Keith, Jake Worthington, and Josh Turner.

Upcoming tour dates for Dawson include an Aug. 17 appearance at Midland County Fair with Craig Morgan in Midland, Michigan.
