With BTS Comeback Success, HYBE Posts Record Revenue

Korean entertainment giant HYBE’s revenues more than doubled year-over-year, driven by the success of BTS’ new album and comeback tour.
The entertainment company reported Q2 revenues of 1.45 trillion won (about $967 million) in the second quarter, a 105.5% increase over the same quarter last year and a 107.6% jump from Q1.
Unsurprisingly with the success of BTS world tour, concert revenues exploded to 647.7 billion won ($432 million), a staggering 243.3% jump year-over-year.
After posting a loss in Q1 – largely the result of a stock-based compensation charge — the record quarter put HYBE back in the black, with an operating profit of nearly 171 billion won ($114 million).
While the tour was the major driver, BTS’s recorded output bumped revenues as well, especially in physical form. Arirang was the best selling album on vinyl and CD worldwide in the first half of 2026 and HYBE artists account for five of the top 10 US albums in terms of CD sales over that same time period.
