Jimmy Eat World, The Format To Celebrate Anniversaries Of Landmark Albums At The Hollywood Bowl

Two seminal rock albums from the 2000s are going to be celebrated at the iconic Hollywood Bowl this fall. Arizona bands Jimmy Eat World and The Format are joining forces to co-headline a special show commemorating anniversaries of their landmark albums in Los Angeles on Nov. 7.

Alt-rock darlings Jimmy Eat World will celebrate the 25^th anniversary of their beloved album, Bleed American, which includes their breakout hit “The Middle” and “Sweetness.” The band is currently on tour performing the album and graced the Vans Warped Tour stage in Long Beach last weekend.

The Format, which reunited last year and includes vocalist Nate Ruess and multi-instrumentalist Sam Means, is celebrating the 20^th anniversary of their sophomore LP Dog Problems, which includes “She Doesn’t Get It” and “The Compromise.”

The exclusive event marks the first time the two bands hailing from Arizona perform together and one of two full album performances scheduled by The Format this year.

Citi cardmembers have access to presale tickets beginning July 30 at 8 a.m. PT until 10 p.m. PT. Additional presales will run July 30 at 11 a.m. PT ahead of the general onsale, which begins July 31 at 10 a.m. PT.
