Shyne Announces 26-City “2622 LGND Tour” With Barrington Levy & Lil’ Cease

Shyne is set to embark on the ‘2622 LGND Tour,’ with the 26-date North American trek kicking off on Oct. 21 at Denver’s Ogden Theatre. The tour, which will include special guests Jamaican reggae and dancehall legend Barrington Levy and famed rapper Lil’ Cease, is currently scheduled to conclude on Dec. 5 in Miami, per an official press release. Shyne’s tour will also feature performances from DJ Rampage and Stig Da Artist. See full tour routing above.
Tickets are on sale now, with artist and venue presales also currently running.
For all the hip-hop heads out there, the tour will mark a reunion between Shyne and Barrington Levy, whose voice defined the hooks of some of the rapper’s biggest hits like“Bad Boyz” and “Bonnie & Shyne,” from his 2000 self-titled LP. The two have not shared a stage on a full tour since.
Additionally, the tour continues the 25th anniversary celebration of Shyne, which began with a homecoming performance at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on May 2. It was his first headlining show in the United States in more than a decade, per a press release.
“Since I returned to the stage on May 2 at Kings Theatre, I took the time to make sure I got the iconic Barrington Levy to clear his calendar, so people can see one of the most legendary rap and reggae collaborations ever live on stage,” said Shyne. “The celebration of the legacy continues this fall with my brother Lil’ Cease and other surprises along the way.”
