FTC Live Investing In Ecuador’s Live Entertainment Ecosystem With Arena Bicentenario

FTC Live, an Ecuadorian entertainment company that has produced some of the country’s biggest shows, is adding a venue to its portfolio and expanding the country’s live entertainment infrastructure.

The company acquired a structure at Quito’s Parque Bicentenario, a large public park covering over 300 acres, and the privately owned venue will operate as Arena Bicentenario, hosting international concerts, festivals, and large-scale live events. It is scheduled to open in December 2026.

The new venue offers a weather-protected environment and boasts flexibility, with capacity capable of expanding from 8,500 to as many as 18,000 guests through outdoor configurations. Arena Bicentenario features a large tent that is about 50 feet tall and covers approximately 197 by 131 feet.

Arena Bicentenario is a significant move from FTC Live. It allows the entertainment company to expand its ability to develop and produce a broader range of experiences while strengthening the Quito market.

In addition to developing a venue, FTC Live promotes major shows in Ecuador, including its inaugural FTC Live Al Parque festival on Aug. 29 at Parque Bicentenario, which features Maroon 5, Yandel Sinfónico, Myke Towers, Los Frequencies and Fruko y sus Tesos. The event also features local artists Machaka, Cris Chil, Miel, Homero Gallardo and Armendaris.

FTC Live has had a hand in the growing influence of global touring in Latin America, promoting shows for major acts such as Shakira. The company is producing shows across the LATAM region for artists like Ozuna, Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, Def Leppard, HUGEL, Hardwell and The Strokes. See full schedule below.
