Chris Brown & Usher’s ‘R&B’ Stadium Tour Tops $100M At First 8 Venues

Chris Brown and Usher have already passed the $100 million mark in box-office earnings on “The R&B Tour,” according to ticket sales figures reported by tour producer Live Nation. Combined grosses at the first eight stadiums on the tour total $101.9 million, based on 566,043 tickets sold at the first 13 sold-out concerts.
Booked at stadiums in North American cities throughout 2026, the tour launched on June 26 at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High with 50,276 fans in attendance, followed by a second June performance on the 30th at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Then in July, Detroit’s Ford Field and Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland both hosted the tour for three nights, while Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte was booked for two shows. Single performances were held at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field, Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis and Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
With the first 11 shows landing in the eligibility timeframe for this week’s LIVE75, a 42,795-ticket average per show earns Brown and Usher the No. 2 ranking on the chart behind Bad Bunny who remains at No. 1 for a seventh consecutive week. He earns his top ranking with a per-show ticket average of 52,479 from 14 recent performances on his “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour.”
“The R&B Tour” racked up the larger box-office haul, however, and grossed an average of $7.8 million per concert, while Bad Bunny’s average gross peaked at $6.7 million on LIVE75. A higher gross average also earns Brown and Usher a debut at No. 1 on Global Concert Pulse, Pollstar’s weekly chart ranked by average gross during the most recent 90-day period. Bad Bunny ranks second on GCP with a three-month average of $7.6 million from 28 concerts. Noah Kahan, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Iron Maiden round out the top 5 on the chart, all with gross averages topping $4 million per concert.
The impact of the “The R&B Tour” can also been seen on the Artist Power Index. On that weekly chart, the final rankings are determined by box-office success as well as Streaming, Airplay and Social activity. Brown and Usher had the second-highest Live score among all the concert performers appearing on the 50-position chart, with only The Weeknd scoring a higher Live rank based on ticket sales potential. Combined with scores from the other three chart metrics, Brown ranks No. 3 overall on the chart, while Usher lands at No. 10 in the ranking.
The tour is set to continue through Dec. 12, wrapping in Tampa, Florida after a run of 51 shows at 26 stadiums in U.S. and Canadian cities. Of all the venues booked on the tour, 16 are hosting more than one performance. Half of those have two shows planned, and seven have three shows on the books. Along with the venues in Detroit and the Washington D.C. area, three-show runs are also set for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas; AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California; Reliant Stadium in Houston and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the only venue on the tour with four shows on the tour itinerary.
Ticket sales results already reported from “The R&B Tour” indicate that it could potentially be one of the most successful tours of the year at the box office. Based solely on the $7.8 million gross average from the first 11 reported shows, the overall gross could land in the $400 million range by the end of 2026, with ticket sales topping 2 million.
