Out Of This World: Phoebe Bridgers Announces Planetarium Experience For ‘Lost Weekend’ Release

Phoebe Bridgers’ much-anticipated third album Lost Weekend will debut in full inside planetariums around the world.

Beginning on Aug, 10 with multiple performances through the week ahead of the Aug. 14 release, the listening sessions pair the album with one of two original visual accompaniments: a custom dome show, designed by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or an immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy.

Performance times and ticket availability vary by venue.

These events will be phone- and camera-free. All phones, smartwatches, recording and filming devices will be secured in Yondr pouches.

As part of the album’s launch week, Phoebe Bridgers — in partnership with Spotify & Dead Oceans — is set to host an exclusive listening event for top fans on Spotify in the Jersey City, NJ, area.

There will also be more than 300 international midnight album release parties for fans to listen to Lost Weekend together. Events are scheduled for the US, Canada, Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
