Oak View Group (OVG), a global leader in live entertainment infrastructure, announced that it has partnered with BIG Digital to explore next-gen digital and interactive fan engagement opportunities across its North American venues.

In making BIG Digital its preferred portable fan engagement technology partner and preferred sustainable display technology partner in North America, OVG establishes a framework to enhance the live experience for guests, expand sponsorship opportunities and modernize venue communications.

BIG Digital has worked with venues that host all kinds of events, from sports to music festivals, combining purpose-built hardware and software to power digital communications, interactive wayfinding, sponsor activations, gamification, audience engagement and more.

That hardware includes portable digital displays and interactive kiosks located wherever fans gather, from entrances and concourses to premium lounges and hospitality spaces, without permanent infrastructure. BIG Digital’s solutions are designed and manufactured in North America and engineered for reliability, flexibility and speed.

“OVG is always looking for technologies that improve the guest experience while creating meaningful value for venues and partners,” said Dan Griffis, President, Global Partnerships, Oak View Group. “BIG Digital’s combination of fan engagement capabilities, sponsorship activation solutions and sustainability-focused technologies aligns well with our vision for the future of venue operations.”

BIG Digital will also help OVG, Pollstar’s parent company, modernize venue communications through ultra-low-power ePaper technology. It replaces printed signage with dynamic content that reduces waste and improves operational efficiency. It is also remotely managed and uses 99% less energy than traditional digital displays.

“BIG Digital is bringing OVG the future of sustainable event signage, featuring portable and solar-powered ePaper solutions designed to eliminate print waste and redefine sustainable venue communications,” said Jake Neiman, CEO of BIG Digital.

Matthew Diamond, Chief Growth Officer of BIG Digital, adds, “Partnering with Oak View Group represents an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fan engagement across some of the industry’s most respected venues. We’re incredibly proud to support OVG with technology that creates better experiences for fans, stronger opportunities for sponsors and more flexible tools for venue operators. Together, we’re helping venues modernize communications, unlock new revenue opportunities and advance sustainability initiatives.”
