Karol G Celebrates “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour” With Immersive Pop-Up Experience

Karol G and Cash App have partnered for an immersive pop-up experience to support the “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour” in five cities: Los Angeles, El Paso, New York, Miami, and Dallas. The inaugural activation will kick off on Aug. 14 in LA and is inspired by Karol G’s song “Viajando Por El Mundo.” The immersive installations will take visitors on a journey through the worlds Karol brings to life through her world-building and love for her culture and roots. These pop-ups will include exclusive merchandise, including a limited-edition collectible T-shirt. As fans move through each stop, they’ll earn a custom stamp marking every destination they complete, with the point of turning the shirt into a one-of-a-kind interactive collectible tied directly to the experience.
“I’m so excited for my fans to step inside the world of ‘Viajando Por El Mundo’ and feel like they’re traveling through all the beautiful places I imagined when I made the song,” Karol G said in a statement. “With these pop-ups, they’ll get to visit every stop and take a little piece of the journey home.”
As a part of the partnership, Cash App is giving Cash App Card holders exclusive perks at every show, which include 20% off official tour merchandise when paying with a Cash App Card. This perk in particular is available at tour stops and pop-ups. Additionally, fans get a free slushie whenever they make a merch purchase with a Cash App Card during tour shows.

Karol G is partying through North America as a part of her “Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour,” which recently landed her on Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart for the first time. Her new stadium tour kicked off in Chicago on July 24. Karol G will have 24 shows at venues in the U.S. and Canada through mid-October. With concerts booked on three continents, the world tour supporting her 2025 album Tropicoqueta will run for a year.
The tour opener was a two-show engagement at Chicago’s Soldier Field that featured a crowd of 43,182 on the first night and 42,139 in attendance the next evening, with a combined gross totaling just under $18 million, as per Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Then, single performances followed at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium and Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. Tickets sales from all four venues totaled 156,936 for an average of 39,234 tickets sold per show. That earns the Colombian singer the No. 5 ranking on LIVE75 and “Hot Shot” status as the concert headliner with the highest-ranked debut on the chart.
