Grahame Lesh Announces Fall Headline Tour

Grahame Lesh is expanding his jam-packed schedule, which includes dates with the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, by adding a fall headline tour with Grahame Lesh & Friends.
The Marin County, California-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, bandleader, curator, and musical director – who is the eldest son of the late Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh – is best known as a founding member and co-frontperson of Midnight North, as well as performing with Phil Lesh & Friends and the Terrapin Family Band. Lesh’s 2026 performances have also included gigs with The Terrapin Roadshow and collaborations with artists across generations of the Grateful Dead musical lineage.
“My parents would talk about the Grateful Dead as a big old tree,” Grahame Lesh told People in a 2025 profile. “The roots are the Americana music and the trunk is the original members of the band, and then each of the branches and the leaves are all the people that were inspired by the band, and I’m just one of those,” he says. “Having an opportunity to celebrate that music that I’ve grown up in, that my family has been a part of since long before I was born, is really special.”
He added, “The No. 1 thing to know about my family, especially musically and artistically, is that it’s really important to all of us to keep that legacy going.”
Lesh’s upcoming schedule includes six dates with the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, where he will take the stage with orchestras including the Philly Pops and National Symphony Orchestra to perform Garcia’s music.
Earlier this month Lesh played a special Grahame Lesh & Friends show at Garcia’s Chicago on August 9, marking the 31st anniversary of Garcia’s death. Lesh played Garcia’s 1976 signature Travis Bean TB500 #11 guitar and closed the set with “Black Muddy River” and “Box of Rain,” which were the final songs performed by the Grateful Dead at their last concert at Chicago’s Soldier Field in 1995.
Previously announced Grahame Lesh & Friends performances include two shows at Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s The Parker in celebration of New Year’s Eve, Dec. 30-31, along with a free show at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park for the Golden Gate Free Jam, where the band will perform at Robin Williams Meadow from a flatbed truck. The Parker shows will feature Grahame Lesh & Friends joined by Kanika Moore and the Wolfpack.
The new fall headline dates start with three Halloween weekend shows – booked Oct. 29 at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club and Oct. 30-31 at Nantucket, Massachusetts’ The Muse. Stops include three nights at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles, The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina and Brooklyn Bowl Nashville.
The Grahame Lesh & Friends band includes Nathan Graham, Adam Minkoff, Damian Calcagne, Justin Mazer and Brian Rashap.
A local venue presale for the fall dates begins Thursday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the general on-sale Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local venue time. Visit grahamelesh.com for tickets and more information.
