Janet Jackson, Airtab Music Announce “Control 40 Live Concert” At Amerant Bank Arena

Janet Jackson and Airtab Music have joined forces to bring to life a special performance to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the singer’s 1986 critically acclaimed LP, Control.

The performance is scheduled for Dec. 12 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL, which will also be filmed for Janet Jackson: Control 40 — The Airtab Music Movie, directed by Leslie Small. Airtab Music will produce and present the show, which honors Janet Jackson’s landmark album. The movie will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of the tour.

The show will be inspired not only by Control but also by songs and albums that have positioned Janet Jackson as a global icon and helped shape the music industry. Tracks to be featured in the performance include hits like “Miss You Much,” “Escapade,” “Love Will Never Do (Without You),” “If,” “Again,” “That’s the Way Love Goes,” “Together Again,” and “All for You.”

As per an official press release, “the arena floor will feature a first-of-its-kind VIP experience, offering fans an entirely new and elevated way to experience Janet Jackson live with reserved premium seating, VIP tables, high-top seating, and dedicated access to select hospitality areas.”

Furthermore, as per the press release, the project “is currently being positioned for a global theatrical release, followed by worldwide distribution across major streaming platforms, bringing this landmark concert film to audiences around the globe.”

The available VIP floor seating, designed specifically for this event, combines exceptional views of the performance with premium amenities and exclusive, controlled-access spaces. VIP floor experiences will be extremely limited, making this a truly unique and exclusive way to experience Janet Jackson live.
