Bruno Mars Expands ‘The Romantic Tour’ Into 2027, With Shows In Australia, New Zealand And Asia

Bruno Mars will be bringing more romance to additional markets next year. The global superstar announced the expansion of “The Romantic Tour,” with new dates in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Mexico City.

Mars added 26 dates to his Live Nation-promoted tour, including a fifth show at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros on Dec. 11. The 2027 leg of his trek now includes stops in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and South Korea, kicking off at Jan. 4 at Valtelin Dome in Japan and wrapping up May 26 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.

Two-time Grammy winner Tyla will be a special guest at the Australia and New Zealand shows, and Silk Sonic collaborator Anderson .Paak returns for all shows as DJ Pee .Wee.

Tickets for the new Mexico City date go on sale Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. local time.

For the Australia and New Zealand shows, there will be an artist presale Sept. 2 that fans must sign up via Ticketmaster by Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. All remaining tickets go on sale to the general public Sept. 4.

Extraordinary demand for “The Romantic Tour” prompted the artist and his team to expand the trek, which delivered the largest single-day ticket sales in Live Nation history across North America, Europe and the U.K. Mars’ headline tour, his first in nearly a decade, also set a Ticketmaster record with 2.1 million tickets sold in a single day. Mars, who is booked by WME’s John Marx and Ben Totis, is on the road promoting his fourth solo album, The Romantic, which has been a hit on streaming charts. He kicked off the tour with a two-night stand at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and he’s visited stadiums such as Arlington’s Globe Life Field, Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Detroit’s Ford Field, Soldier Field in Chicago and Toronto’s Rogers Stadium before going to Europe. Mars returned to the States this month for a four-night stand at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
