Foreigner is continuing its 50th anniversary celebration with a four-show run of dates in the New York metropolitan arena, commemorating where the rock band got its start.

After forming in New York by Mick Jones in 1976, Foreigner released its self-titled debut album the following March. The LP boasts the hit singles, “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice” and “Long, Long Way from Home.”

The band will be headed home in spring 2027, starting with an April 27 show at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Additional stops include The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey; The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, and Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair in Westbury, New York.

“New York is where Foreigner  began, so there could be no better place to celebrate 50 years of our music,” Jones said in a statement. “The songs have connected Foreigner with audiences for five decades, and these four shows will be a celebration of the fans who have been with us since the beginning.”

Over the past five decades Foreigner has sold more than 80 million records worldwide. The band’s catalog also includes hits “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” and “Double Vision.”

Foreigner’s tour dates in North America are booked by THE·TEAM’s Dan Weiner.
