Béla Fleck Announces Live Album & Tour Dates 

Béla Fleck has unveiled details for his upcoming live album, Live Heart: My Bluegrass Heart at the Ryman. Fans will have plenty of chances to see the banjo virtuoso on stage as he’s got tour dates lined up from September through December. 

Live Heart: My Bluegrass Heart at the Ryman documents the special evening in January 2022 when Fleck and a group of musicians – who his PR team rightly refers to as “a multigenerational gang of musical heavy hitters” – took the stage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to perform songs that they’d recorded for his album My Bluegrass Heart. The LP won the 2022 Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.

Fleck was joined by Sam Bush, Michael Cleveland, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Sierra Hull, Edgar Meyer, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz, Billy Strings, Bryan Sutton, Tony Trischka, and Molly Tuttle.

“We somehow managed to take and own the stage that night,” says Fleck, “My amazing peers, friends, and iconic performers really brought the fire—I’m very proud to bring you this fantastic live performance.”

Live Heart: My Bluegrass Heart at the Ryman is due out Oct. 16 on 2CD and 3LP sets, available for pre-order now. Check out a performance video of the first single, “Blue Mountain Hop,” below. 

Fleck’s upcoming tour schedule includes headline gigs, festival appearances and special performances with Renée Fleming as they celebrate their 2026 collaborative album, The Fiddle and the Drum. Fleming will be backed by Béla and the My Bluegrass Heart Band on Sept. 15 at Schermerhorn Symphony in Nashville (part of AmericanaFest), Sept. 22 at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Dec. 3 at Carnegie Hall in New York City, with guest vocalist Aoife.
