Taylor Tomlinson Announces 2027 Dates For ‘Nobody Asked You To Do That Tour’

Taylor Tomlinson has a new book due out this month, along with book tour appearances and a stand-up trek that starts on Friday – and now she’s got even gigs, with new 2027 shows confirmed for the “Nobody Asked You To Do That Tour.” 

The comedian’s book of essays, “Actually, Nevermind,” is due out Sept. 22 and she’ll celebrate that evening with an appearance at Merkin Concert Hall At Kaufman Music Center in New York. Additional book tour dates are scheduled in D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and Lake Forest Park, Washington. The book is described as “a collection of all-original, humorous autobiographical essays [in which] Tomlinson explores the serious and ridiculous things she has changed her mind about and the contradictions you encounter while finding your way through adulthood.”

Her previously announced dates for “Nobody Asked You To Do That Tour” kick off with four performances at Union Hall in Brooklyn, New York, Sept. 18-19 (with two shows per evening). 2026 shows are booked through early December, wrapping with five performances at Helium Comedy Club in Portland, Oregon, Dec. 6-6. Tomlinson returns to the road in January for a six-show run at DC Improv Comedy Club in Washington, D.C. Jan. 7-10

The new 2027 dates start with a Feb. 4 show at First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane, Washington, and include stops in Salt Lake City, Asheville, San Antonio, Cleveland, Baltimore, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cincinnati and more.

Tomlinson graced the cover of Pollstar in 2023 shortly after the news was announced she would be the host of CBS’ “After Midnight.” The news was especially significant that she would be the only woman hosting a major network program, as well as at 30 years old, the youngest host by almost two decades. The show was canceled after two years with Tomlinson saying she wanted to focus on her “first passion” of touring.

Her latest Netflix special, “Prodigal Daughter,” was released earlier this year. 

Tomlinson’s accolades over the years include being named to Forbes 30 Under 30 and TIME100 Next, as well as named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “100 Most Powerful Women in Hollywood.”

She is managed by Judi Marmel at Levity Live and her team at United Talent Agency includes Heidi Feigin and Nick Nuciforo.

Reports submitted to Pollstar for Tomlinson include three shows at Clowes Memorial Hall in Indianapolis that sold a total of 5,974 tickets and grossed $486,153.
