Regardless of which artist or athlete walks through Hard Rock Stadium’s doors over the next four months, the Miami Gardens venue can already claim 2026 as a banner year.

In just eight months, the stadium hosted seven FIFA World Cup matches, the College Football Championship, the Miami Open and the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, keeping venue executive Jose Mola plenty busy.

“Any one of these events could be considered a milestone, but successfully delivering all of them within such a compressed timeframe is an extraordinary accomplishment,” says Mola, who is vice president of stadium and campus operations for the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.

Mola has earned the right to toot his own horn along with his team for such accomplishments. It’s a testament to their coordination and the venue’s versatility, transitioning from an F1 event to the World Cup.

Mola says the stadium is committed to investing in the fan experience, from hospitality to grab-and-go concessions to transportation, including the GEICO HRS Express complimentary shuttle service connecting Hard Rock Stadium to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Golden Glades Multimodal Center.

“The benefits extend beyond those who use the service. By removing thousands of vehicles and tens of thousands of pedestrians from the roads and sidewalks surrounding the stadium on event days, we’ve significantly reduced congestion throughout the campus.”

Mola takes pride in helping through the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, the NFL’s largest fundraising event that has raised over $100 million for University of Miami research over the past 16 years.

“What makes the Dolphins Cancer Challenge so special is that 100% of participant-raised funds go directly to cancer research, helping advance treatments and improve outcomes for patients,” Mola says. “It’s a powerful example of how sports can bring people together for a greater purpose, and it reflects our organization’s commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the games and events we host.”
