Veteran Promoter Jason Legassie Launches Off The Rails Presents, Booking OTR Boston, Worcester, More

Veteran concert promoter Jason Legassie has announced the launch of Off The Rails Presents, a Massachusetts-based independent concert promoter booking venues including Off The Rails Worcester and the new 400-capacity Off The Rails Boston.
Legassie will serve as vice president and operating partner alongside co-founder Chris Besaw, who led the charge to secure and renovate the Boston location and will operate the venue. OTR Presents will exclusively handle programming of both Off The Rails properties and future Off The Rails properties, according to the announcement, along with other venues and co-promotes around the country.
“I am thrilled for this latest challenge in my career and eager to build OTR Presents from the ground up into something truly special,” Jason Legassie says in the announcement. “OTR Presents is open for business, not just in the Northeast but nationwide. We look forward to talking with every other independent promoter and building manager out there to create lasting relationships for the next generation of concert promoters. Everything we’ve planned comes down to one goal: giving fans and artists the best experience possible every time.”
Jason Legassie’s live music career begins with putting on shows across southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast while still in his early teens. Legassie later bought talent and promoted shows for Portland’s Port City Music Hall, Waterfront Concerts, and, most recently, at John Peters’ MassConcerts.
Upcoming gigs as part of the grand opening season for Off The Rails Boston include Lazarus, Louie w / Lisa Bello, Eddie and the Getaway, Chayce Beckham, and The Wolff Sisters & Griffin William Sherry.
