After 11 months of traveling around the world and breaking records wherever she visited, Karol G fittingly concluded her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” with another milestone by becoming the first artist to perform four sold-out stadium shows at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain.

The Colombian superstar drew more than 225,000 fans throughout the four-night run produced by Live Nation from July 20-23, and the final show livestreamed on YouTube garnered more than a million viewers. The concerts in Madrid featured a number of surprises, including a performance from Amaia Montero on the second night. The former lead singer of the popular Spanish pop band La Oreja de Van Gogh returned to the stage for the first time in five years to perform the hit song, “Rosas” along with Karol G.

The nearly three-hour show on Tuesday was a culmination of one of the most successful tours by any female artist let alone a Latin act. Karol G’s remarkable run of 60-plus shows sold more than 2 million tickets and grossed more than $300 million, according to a release from the artist and Live Nation.

In between songs during the final show, the singer hailing from Medellín had a heartfelt message for her fans, saying she’d like to “stop the time to enjoy what has happened to me these past few months, weeks and the past year of my life.”

“If there is something beautiful that this album left me, it’s that I learned to love myself and value who I am above what other people think of me because I am sure God made me unique like he made everyone unique for a reason,” Karol G said. “[During] this tour, I found my purpose in life, and it is helping people feel the way I feel now after so many years of not having felt that way.”

Karol G’s “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” was simply a remarkable juggernaut and one for the record books. With more than 220,000 tickets in Spain, she sold more than any other artist, including Coldplay and Taylor Swift. She also became the first Latin act to perform twice at venues such as Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, Accor Arena in Paris and Meo Arena in Lisbon. The tour is the first by a female artist who debuted in the 2010s to sell over 2 million tickets.

Karol G is repped by United Talent Agency worldwide and managed by Rimas Entertainment CEO Noah Assad, who also manages Bad Bunny. The most successful showing of her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” was a two-night stand last August at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The shows on Aug. 18 and 19 sold 89,814 tickets and grossed a whopping $18,578,459, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
